Melissa Costello, Director
Director Melissa Costello specializes in eliciting compelling and authentic
on-camera performances from top individuals in the political, business,
sports and entertainment fields. Prior to working with AKP&D, Costello
formed and ran successful production companies in Los Angeles and Chicago
and directed national spots for major advertising agencies on behalf of
dozens of Fortune 500 companies. For her efforts, she has received a First
Place award at the US International Film and Video Festival, a Gold Pollie
Award, an Addy Award, three Telly Awards and two Pollie Awards.
A guest lecturer for Illinois Womenıs Institute for Leadership, Columbia
College, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, which she also
attended, Costello is also a mentor to new directors for Women In Film.
