Terrie Pickerill, Vice President & Senior Media Producer
Terrie Pickerill joined AKP&D in 1997 as a Research Associate, compiling statistical and analytical data and preparing detailed reports covering an expansive range of issues.

Pickerill was promoted to the Production Department in 1998 and is currently the Vice President and Senior Media Producer. She oversees every step in the production of television and radio advertisements for clients.

Prior to joining AKP&D, Pickerill worked for the Illinois Comptroller’s
Office, where she developed and managed a comprehensive database for the 7,246 Illinois local government entities. She also created a program for paperless filing, the basis of which is still used today by the State of
Illinois.

In 1994, Pickerill served as the downstate volunteer coordinator for the
Netsch for Governor campaign. Her primary responsibilities included recruiting and managing all downstate volunteers. This also included assisting heavily in the creation and implementation of the statewide field program.

Pickerill is a 1994 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a BA in Political Science. At SIU, Pickerill was the Undergraduate Student Government Chief of Staff.

In 2001, Pickerill was chosen as a member of the inaugural class of the Illinois Women’s Institute for Leadership Program, a program that trains and encourages women to run for office.

Pickerill also serves as Vice President on the Board of Single Room Housing Initiative Corporation, a non-profit organization that assists the homeless with find housing.

She is a native of the downstate Metro East region, east of St. Louis. She resides in Chicago with her husband.
